Software Update 2.44.46 (2025 Q3)

@Chris_Dx I also had excessive (+20% / day) battery burn, without exercise, after the latest update. Though, after letting it drain to two % battery, recharge to 95% and a soft reset, the battery drain is way better again. Now I’ve had 26 % drain after 3 days with ~5 hours of GPS exercise, with best the GPS performance stting.

@GiPFELKiND Of course i don’t. Download GBs and GBs of maps needs time, especially if you don’t have fast internet connection, that means the watch needs to stay time under charge even if at 100%, probably the best thing you can do if your goal is waste battery…
However I don’t understand the sense of keep the app saying to do the main thing shouldn’t say no more after a fixing firmware. Really don’t. I may even solve the problem someway, but firmware are supposed to fix bug in the right way, not via forum.
-
@Squirrel As I said, working firmware are supposed to do their job without shortcut or forum tips… Make an update and then force users to make it work it’s simply ridiculous, even more of you neither release instruction alongside the appstore changelog. Many of them not even know the existence of this forum, so no, your one it’s not the correct answer, even if you can be right.

@VoiGAS I also had a couple of easy runs tagged as VO2max in the app since the last update so changed my TSS back to HR as you described (update had set it to TSS R so thanks for the info
)
I ran a super easy run yesterday (all aerobic according to ZS & zone 2 by HR) but the activity still got tagged with VO2max.
Looks to me that the tags are still applied using TSS R calculations that the update force changed to despite me selecting “use TSS HR for all future activities” (I’ve never configured Pace zones).

I have a question - do I still have to have ZoneSense suunto plus app active during activity, or ZoneSense now just works without a S+ app? Tnx
-
@Dušan-Ković you can use the outer ring (or the data fields already available since Q2 update) without having to use the S+ app
-
@isazi said in Software Update 2.44.46 (2025 Q3):
you can use the outer ring
But how? Is it somewhere customizable? I always have only HR outer ring.

@smopi
Exercise options
Intensity zones
Zonesense
Set target zone -
@Mattg576 Of course. Than you, but this option seems to be only available for certain sports modes. Unfortunately, I don’t see it for walking.
-
Did we know what the sudden random vibration, for no reason, is? A bug or a feature…
-
@isazi Awesome! That’s all I need. Thanks!
-
@smopi You can choose what outer ring shows in the Exercise options before starting the exercise under Intensity zones field

what is happening with the update for s9pp

I tested new structured workouts : great !!! At last rep counter and 5sec bip ! I’m so satisfied !!
(To be noticed, guides created before update must be deleted and created again so it can work) -
@smopi I’ve just checked on my SS Race & the option is definitely there under walking for me mate.
-
@rayco989 should be released soon
-
@Mattg576 Interesting, on my SV (with latest FW update) such option is missing.
-
@JonasLarsson is it possibly related to this?
-
@smopi Who knows how Suunto decide these things
I spent ages at the weekend trying to add the box breathing app to the meditation sport mode without success so posted about it on the forum.
Someone soon came along & said it was working for them in the exact set up I was trying to achieve (but on a different watch…
)

Mmm a rep counter and a 5 sec beep that sounds pretty nice…
Perhaps I should just update my watch …
But still hesitant to do so…
