@Hari-Seldon additional changes introduced in 3.20.20
-Feeling can be discarded when saving the workout.
-New image added when charging the watch.
-Marathon mode can be customizable.
-Configure sounds for activity only.
-New orange color for watch faces.
-Metrics reading from HR belts with additional metrics such as those from Garmin.
-HR delayed fixed in SA when syncing activity.
-
@herlas is possible to fix the hr delay in past activities? And what do y mean for SA? Thanks
-
@Vincenzo only going forward with new activities AFAIK, SA = Suunto app
-
@herlgas good to know, I think suunto Run should be the subject of numerous fixes, first of all the watchface of interval training⦠So annoying and then a better customization for main watchface.

Ahem
Iāve never owned a Garmin so could you please tell me something more on this? Thanks
-
@Hari-Seldon e.g. Running symmetry metrics
-
@herlas Wow! I hope this also comes to older watches or at least the Race 2

Interesting - I hadnāt noticed this.

Hi,
I waited a while before reporting this, but I think sleep needs to be tweaked a bit more because afaic it doesnāt recognize well when Iām awake and when Iām asleep.
For example, last night I helped a friend who had surgery, and it wasnāt an easy night. I stayed awake to assist him from ~11:30 p.m. to ~4:00 a.m., and the watch didnāt recognize the awake interval at all (which happens often). Head and tail were ok though.
My std sleep interval is set to 9.30pm to 6.15am -
Has anyone tested the new features with Suunto Smart Sensor and can say something about it?
-
@VoiGAS What do you mean specifically? Iām sorry, but Iām afraid I donāt get it
If you were referring to the HR delay with .22, Iāve never had that.
-
@Hari-Seldon I meant the new metrics that should be available when using the Suunto Smart Sensor. āMetrics reading from HR belts with additional metrics such as those from Garmin.ā was the mysterious name
-
@VoiGAS frankly I do not see any diff
-
@Hari-Seldon @VoiGAS Suunto smart sensor doesnāt not provide additional metrics, a few Garmin belts do, it was around that ability to read them that SRun gained.
-
@herlas is Garmin HRM 600 supported?
-
@herlas Additional metrics when using a competitors Accessoires? That sounds like a strange decisionā¦
Did you try it? -

unless thereās something brewingā¦

@Hari-Seldon I no longer have the Suunto Run to test it, but the Garmin HRM Pro+ does these things:
****RUNNING DYNAMICS
HRM-Pro Plus captures running dynamics ā such as vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio and more ā to help improve your form and enable running power on your compatible Garmin watch****
I am assuming that you can now see these things when you use the HRM with your Run.
