Interval run - missing features
-
I did my first interval run on the Suunto.
• 2.5 km warm-up
• 10 × 400 m at 3:50 + 60s rest
• 2.5 km cool-downUnlike the Coros, which I used before, at the end of each 400-meter rep the Suunto never shows the average pace for that interval — it immediately switches to the next one without giving any information. Is there any way to enable that feedback at the end of each rep?
On the other hand: during the 60s rest interval it shows a screen with the name of the interval, heart rate, current pace, and time remaining. But during the 400m interval it doesn’t display the distance remaining until the rep is over. Is there any way to enable that?
At the end of the workout, the watch shows lap performance: time, distance, and heart rate. But since this is a pace-based workout, what I’d like to see is my lap pace rather than my heart rate. Is there any way to change that?
Thanks.

@gogapo unfortunately if you use guided workouts with intervals, the watch doesn’t display a summary of the interval you’ve just completed. It does when you press the lap button on a “plain” activity, it’d be nice if the same applied to intervals workouts. You can configure a dedicated watch face with data about last lap to solve the issue, but that means switching manually to a different face during the activity.
As for the remaining distance, I find strange it’s not displayed. How did you configure your guide? Could you share a screenshot?

You need to use the actual “interval” screen, not the guided workouts, to see that information.
If you prefer pressing the lap button manually to start/end an interval (for instance if it is not practical for the interval distance or interval time to always be the same), then use the Suunto Plus app.
I hope this helps. -
@Francesco-Pagano you can see here the workout I built in the app. And here the post workout screen on the watch
