@jjpaz Ty for input. I mostly picking between V1 and V2 as upgrade to my 9pp. Mostly because sometimes i have issues wirh 9pp small text redability in tricky lightning. And i am seeing same price for v1 and v2 on idealo

@krakra Either one will be an improvement over the S9PP. I had S9P (not Pro) and moving to Vertical was a big change. Bigger screen, more features and accuracy. Also, more size and weight. In my case I wear titanium version with velcro strap. Think (or try if yoy can) about the screen technology, that’s the main difference: MIP 1,4" or Amoled 1.5".

Oh, don’t forget that with Amoled display you can only use black theme. With MIP you can choose between black or whitebackground as in S9PP (I use white background in my Vertical).

@jjpaz would love too see how navigation maps look with aod used during activity on V2

@krakra Another important detail: if price is the same, maybe is more interesting picking the new model: bigger screen, more features, improved HR sensor, flashlight… Or, if you don’t need flashlight, evaluate Race 2 or Race S…
Only my opinion…

@krakra the maps go dark with AOD. But only an issue if cycling with the watch on your handlebars. You can still follow on the bike when they darken.
In other modes like running, walking etc where you raise your wrist they wake up so quickly it doesn’t make any difference.
I have the V2 now, from the V1.
The V2 is much easier to read if your eyes aren’t perfect. I need reading glasses but can read a lot of fields on the V2 I couldn’t of read on the V1.
I purchased the V2 at launch, I think September, and have found the watch excellent for my user case.

@Audaxjoe ya my eyes are not as good as well anymore. But still i kinda like v1 mip screen. Feels more organic if that makes any sense. But as far as i tried in store the readability is much better on v2 amoled. Not yet decided what direction i will go as upgrade to my s9pp. Have a great day!

Hello. Is anyone experiencing an issue on their Vertical 2 with the advanced heart rate zones for different sports? When they modify the maximum heart rate for cycling (since it’s lower in this sport), it ends up affecting the maximum heart rate for other sports (default, running, etc.), even without selecting the option to update maximum heart rate after the suggestion message appears.
I’ve looked in the manual, but it explains what it’s supposed to do, but it doesn’t work. I don’t know if this has been reported…
I’m using version SFTW 2.50.26; I didn’t notice this issue in any previous versions after modifying the thresholds.
EDIT: For now… I’m not modifying the maximum heart rate while cycling, so it doesn’t alter the other zone programs. -
@Elmiuel the maximum HR is your maximum HR. It is a limitation of your body. This limitation does not change depending on the sport. As the maximum HR is the upper end of Zone 5, what does it matter? Just set the zones differently for cycling…

@2b2bff
Hi everyone, thanks for your input. I’ll enter my maximum heart rate achieved in both sports, but I’ll configure different ranges for each discipline since certain muscles or physical qualities are more involved. Thanks for your contributions.
