@Audaxjoe ya my eyes are not as good as well anymore. But still i kinda like v1 mip screen. Feels more organic if that makes any sense. But as far as i tried in store the readability is much better on v2 amoled. Not yet decided what direction i will go as upgrade to my s9pp. Have a great day!

Hello. Is anyone experiencing an issue on their Vertical 2 with the advanced heart rate zones for different sports? When they modify the maximum heart rate for cycling (since it’s lower in this sport), it ends up affecting the maximum heart rate for other sports (default, running, etc.), even without selecting the option to update maximum heart rate after the suggestion message appears.
I’ve looked in the manual, but it explains what it’s supposed to do, but it doesn’t work. I don’t know if this has been reported…
I’m using version SFTW 2.50.26; I didn’t notice this issue in any previous versions after modifying the thresholds.
EDIT: For now… I’m not modifying the maximum heart rate while cycling, so it doesn’t alter the other zone programs. -
@Elmiuel the maximum HR is your maximum HR. It is a limitation of your body. This limitation does not change depending on the sport. As the maximum HR is the upper end of Zone 5, what does it matter? Just set the zones differently for cycling…

@2b2bff
Hi everyone, thanks for your input. I’ll enter my maximum heart rate achieved in both sports, but I’ll configure different ranges for each discipline since certain muscles or physical qualities are more involved. Thanks for your contributions. -
Settings → Training → Intensity zones
Here you can choose:- one set of zones for all sports, or
- separate zones for Running and Cycling.
So you can keep the same max HR, but apply different zone distributions per discipline.

Is it possible to disable touch from the map view during an activity in the Suunto Vertical 2? In the Vertical 1, this is in custom battery mode, which Suunto removed in the new version of the Vertical.
Touchscreen is very annoying and unusable in rainy weather. -

Is your answer simply “it can’t be done” or do you know of any Suunto actions that would restore this?
-
@maszop It is not yet possible to control enable or disable touch for Vertical 2.
But maybe soon… -

Amazing update again! -
Can you tell me where to view the results of my heart rate measurement after exercise?

It is shown in watch after the 1min measurement hat stopped.
After syncing to SA it is shown in the activity details as well:

-
@Egika Recovery HR must be enabled in exercise options? After the activity is finished and saved, then one minute test starts automatically?

Correct.
Enable in exercise options. The serting is remembered per sport mode.
Plus you must be at least in HR zone 2 when ending the exercise. -
@Egika I just tried this morning : unless I didn’t look at right place but hr recovery option was enabled by default on my hiking mode. But obviously no test at the end and nothing in the app. I’ll try to unpin option and pin it again tomorrow before my cycling training
-
@Tieutieu if you finish your activity in Z1 it doesn’t work, it needs at least Z2 when you press “End”
-
@isazi ok thanks this explains all !
-
@Tieutieu erm. That’s what I wrote above…
-
@Эгика After the workout was completed, the measurement was taken, but this item is not available in the app. You have four windows in the heart rate section, and I have three.
