SUUNTO VERTICAL 2. Rotating display inside the watch case
-
Hi everyone. On Friday, I received my new Vertical 2. Today, I finally had time to turn it on and configure it. As soon as I turned it on, I noticed that the letters in the SUUNTO logo seemed to be slightly rotated clockwise with respect to the physical casing of the watch. It’s not very noticeable, but it’s slightly twisted. It looks like the assembly isn’t correct or that the software has some kind of fault. If it were software, everyone would have this effect, and if it’s assembly, it might just be my unit. In any case, I just wanted to share the information. It’s very difficult to measure, but I’ve attached some photos of how I did it.

@Stark Unfortunately you need to send this one back

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Yes. I’m going to return it and ask for a refund. I’m quite disappointed. Adding to my disappointment, the colour of the titanium parts is very black, much more than in my Vertical 1. On the other hand, the buttons are similar to the titanium colour of the Vertical 1. I don’t know, I feel like quality control isn’t at the right level. We’ll see in the future

@Stark Firstly I was a bit disappointed by the darker titanium as it appears lighter in pictures. Now I wouldn’t want to change it even if I could. I’m sorry about your rotated display. Of course I had to check mine and it’s all fine.
