QUARQ PM and pairing to Suunto Race no go

POST multi pod update:
I can pair my race to my quarq PM, but once it’s paired to teh SRAM AXS system with my Karoo head unit, the watch won’t pick it up - which is odd- because it once did pair, but then the QUARQ PM was the only power pod listed. maybe a subsequent update changed - but there is no problem with paring to the stages unit I have. they are both listed as power pods.
I removed the QUARQ and re-paired it. It shows up in the list of pODS but still won’t link
