Alipay on non-Suunto Run watches

the new Suunto Run has an Alipay app (only available in mainland China) - which is a game changer, although it’s possible to get on almost any Garmin…
Does anyone know the possibility of Alipay being introduced to other watches? I have a Vertical1 and would love to be able to go out and leave the phone behind and still buy things using Alipay - it’s literally just a QR code which doesn’t change. Shouldn’t it be an easy app to create?
On that note - in SuuntoPlus, there is a section for Apps created by our community - is this something that is still going?
