Display delay with black screen when Raising to wake

I’m experiencing a delay when raising to wake my Race2.
I get a Blanc black screen which lasts way longer than it should!
I have to sway my wrist aggressively for the display to appear, with that I’m not sure if it’s the aggressive movement or the time elapsed not that it really matters, I expect an immediate reaction as with the Race1. It is an annoying phenomenon especially when I just want to see the time.
Is that to much to ask
