3.22.18Staged update starting on November 6th, 2025
This update brings improvements and bug fixes.New Features:
Added support for online watch face function. You can download your favorite watch faces through the App.
Added a button lock function for watch face page.
Added customization support for lap data screens during exercise.
Added a preference setting for always-on display during exercise.
Added display of ZoneSense during exercise, which requires the use of ECG heart rate belt.
Added a preference setting for the use of pause and lap buttons during exercise.Optimization and bug fixes:
The stability of the system has been enhanced. -
Some useful new features here. Happy to be able to pause an activity without raising to wake. And good to see ZoneSense added, will check this out later.

So still three software branches in parallel development at Suunto as it seems. I wonder how long this will last. Maybe they decide end of the year, the longer the parallel development proceeds, the harder a possible merge will be…

control panel > settings > activity & training > button preferences > pause button / lap button options, where you can set just for when “screen on” or “screen on/off” -

@Pep-Carbonell indeed, although I tried to test it on this morning’s run and didn’t see the ZS screen I was expecting, and I haven’t found how to enable it anywhere.There does appear to be a ZS summary post workout which I don’t think was there before?

@owend I was wondering the same thing. I guess there’s something to configure in the app that I still need to update on Android.

@Hari-Seldon I haven’t tried yet but it could be caused by this app update pending.
Anycase we need a chest HR monitor to enable ZoneSense and then an additional heart rate graph screen will appear.

So I saw that you can set the single button shortcut to lock screen (control panel > settings > customize > upper/lower button > short/long press), as an alternative to the 2-button method, which I don’t find as easy to do. It then allows you to lock the screen with a single button, but not unlock in the same way, you still need to use the 2-button method to unlock. Seems pointless to even offer the option in that case

@Pep-Carbonell yes, when wearing a chest strap with R-R data, after 10 minutes, on the extra screen for HR ZS data will be shown.

Great update, thanks for this dev team. Looking forward to using real-time ZS (and hoping Vertical 2 watchface will be released as well)
