@WlodiPawel-87 I have the same problem. In winter, I wear a long-sleeved thermal shirt and the watch over it, and to see the screen, I have to press the button.

I hope they fix it with an update.

@WlodiPawel-87 Tonight I’ll be running with my friends, all seven of us will be with Run, and we’ll try again. I’ll let you know how it goes. Also, yesterday, while trying out what you discovered, I found another possible issue, but I need to double-check before reporting it.

@Hari-Seldon also, I would like if you could report to Devs when pausing trening with top button it would be nice to resume it too with same button

I’m not a field tester at all, I simply contribute to improving Run. So, like everyone else here, I report everything I can. I’m pretty sure the relevant people have already read everything. In case you didn’t know, you can also send feedback via the Suunto app.

@WlodiPawel-87 I confirm the issue, we have all encountered the behavior you reported.
This happens even if you don’t train; simply by removing the watch, RTW no longer works.

@herlas, @Brad_Olwin could you check this, please?

@Hari-Seldon not an issue, rather expected behavior, it needs contact with the skin by design. Feedback was passed to Suunto already but, not sure if this will get improved, we’ll see.
With light fabrics if works fine, but not ideal that’s for sure.

@Hari-Seldon i like to see if they can do something about it, like I said on vertical 1 it works perfectly, screen light up when RTW no matter if with contact with skin or not

Rather than creating a new thread I’ll just post here: I would like to be able to see moving average values for pace and HR during a run (like average HR over the last 60 seconds). Moving average already seems to exist for running power (over the last 3s / 10s / 30s) so I don’t think it would be too time-consuming to expand the functionality to other metrics. Not quite the same thing as seeing the pace/HR for automatic or manual laps.

Suunto Run is connected to the HR belt, but why is the optical heart rate still working? Do you know why?
