At a 5-minute pace, the display didn’t even reach zone 2 or 3. I could live with that. I generally run intervals by pace. But the fact that it shows me different values than another watch is really annoying.

Just a question, how do you conclude that the FR shows the correct values? Are you using a HR belt or is it just the OHR?

I’m using a HRm Pro+ belt. With the Forerunner, I run at 5:45 - 6 minutes with an average heart rate of 128 BPM. With the Race 2, I run in the same range at 7 minutes.
Regardless of whether I use the strap with the Race 2 or the wrist measurement.

Are you disappointed with Race 2? Buy the Ocean, and you’ll be praying to go back to Race 2.

@SyntaxError the HR readins with the belt should be the same on Garmin and Suunto. I remember having read something about the HRM Pro+ here in the forum not too long ago.
That said, distances should be about the same as well. If they differ by that amount, you should email support@suunto.com - possibly you have a defect watch…

After the blood oxygen measurement stopped working following the last update, I rolled back to version 2.46.4. Since then, the watch won’t charge. It indicates that it’s starting, but then nothing happens. It just stays at the battery level. I’m slowly going mad with this watch.

@SyntaxError I had something similar once, turned out that the charger was weak. Can you try to connect the charging cable to something else, just to test?

@OutdoorMan I tested the charger with two different power adapter. After about 10 attempts, the watch finally charged.

@SyntaxError weird, sometimes a quick restart (hold the upper button for 12 seconds) can also solve such issues. Maybe the watch just went crazy somehow.
