SuuntoPlus Guides are not syncing

Found out the other day, if there are too many Guides waiting, it will stop syncing as well. I deleted ones for the past and the future in the app and it started syncing again…

@2b2bff Hi. I met the same issue. The Suunto guides from AI Suunto Plans were not removed and stopped syncing. I am not able to make it work anyway. But I also have my manually created Suunto guides synced to my watch, and, surprisingly, removing one of my manually created Suunto guides fixes the whole process of syncing. Please try.

I’ve been having this problem on and off for a couple of year, first with Suunto Race and now with the Race 2. Tried everything but seems factory reset is the only “reliable” solution. But randomly it stops syncing and restarts again. Since this is affecting many users and have been a problem for years it would be nice to get Supports view on this. Anyone gotten a reliable fix/workaround?

Have been dealing with this issue for the last two weeks. Really infuriating out of Suunto. Need a solution for this as it’s completely unreasonable.

I am currently stuck with a bunch of stale TP workouts and unable to sync all future workouts.

For me on Suunto Race 1 TrainAsOne guides stopped syncing to watch two or three app versions ago. Don‘t know exactly but maybe three month ago. This is very annoying!!

To add a data point: I was able to reproduce this reliably. I am normally connected to TrainAsOne and by itself I’ve had no trouble whatsoever in close to 3 years.
Each time I registered for a Suunto AI plan in parallel, Suunto pushes its workouts to the watch, which is too many workouts I guess. From then on, the sync breaks.
Unlike « regular » sync failures which I’ve managed to resolve via a combo of soft reset and re-pairing the watch (this happened a handful of times in 3 years), this case has only ever been resolved with a hard reset. Reproduced 4 times.

I have the same problem too. About a week ago SuuntoPlus stopped syncing. Facts in my case:

Apple iOS, up to date app and watch
When I sync, the SuuntoPlus sync immediately goes to a full green circle, and after a few seconds it continues with the rest of the sync (which appears to work - exercises sync back to the phone, and weather updates). No actual sync for SuuntoPlus happens.
** No trainings (Suunto Guides) sync. They remain “not in watch”.
** I created an interval training in the app. Even when that is the only one waiting to sync (remove all TrainingPeaks trainings), it does not.
** I removed watch faces in the app and that does not sync: they’re still in the watch after repeated syncs
** I removed a SuuntoPlus app in the phone app but it remains in the watch.
** Old TrainingPeaks exercises remain in the watch (dated last week)
I used to use My Plan but the last plan stopped 10 months ago. None active since then
A soft reset had no effect.
Reinstall the app and re-pair had no effect.

Not related to TrainAsOne, but I have issues syncing Guides created via Suunto App since a couple of months now (see here: https://forum.suunto.com/post/198163).
Tried pair-unpair and soft reset but did not work. Haven’t tried hard reset yet.
I also remember to have created a Suunto Coach AI plan few months ago, and that time syncing did not work. I don’t remember certainly if guides syncing stopped working right after that or later.
