Pairing Stryd Duo as Sensor

I have a Stryd Duo that I want to pair as a sensor with my Vertical 2 (directly, not via the app, as I want the pace measurement to come from the Stryd). My question: When I search for the sensor on the V2, the Stryd appears twice (both individual sensors). Do I need to pair both sensors with the watch, or is one enough? On my Garmin Fenix 8, only one sensor is displayed. How did you guys set this up on your devices?

For Suunto/BLE watches, you should only pair a single Stryd sensor (in this case, only pair one StrydX)
