Hi there. Couldn’t find a similar topic so opening a new one.
I use the Suunto Ocean with the newest Firmware (Q3 25). I also have a Suunto Tank Pod on my first stage. During about 10-15% of the time the Gas usage (SAC) and remaining Gas time do not get calculated. Not on the watch nor in the App. But Tank Pressure Start and End are shown on the watch and in the App. What’s that all about? I really like seeing my current gas usage as I am trying to work on my breathing technique. Since gas pressure is transmitted correctly and is shown, gas usage can be calculated manually, but then I don’t need a tank pod and could just use the spg if I have to calculate it myself.
Is this a known bug? Will it be fixed? Is anyone else having these problems too? Can I do something to force the calculations?

      Cheers
      Joel

If I understand correctly, you don’t see any data on gas consumption during the dive either?
If that’s the case, I imagine that the connection to the tank pod is lost during the dive. This usually happens when the distance between the Ocean and the tank pod becomes too great. If you haven’t tried it yet, try wearing the Ocean on the same side as the tank pod, or screw the tank pod onto the Ocean side.
It might also help to take a look at the app.
If you display the tank pressure in the app’s dive graph, it should show a nice (continuous) line. If it looks more like a staircase or is interrupted, this is a sign that something is wrong with the connection.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately the connection doesn’t seem to be the issue, as gas pressure in the tank is always shown and transmitted accurately. That would not be the case if the connection is lost as far as I assume. It is just gas consumption (SAC in liters / minute) and remaining gas time do not get calculated and are shown as “–” on the watch during the dive and are completely absent in the app after the dive. If I switch to tank pressure on the watch, the pressure shown in bars decreases correctly and in accord with my SPG.

            Thanks for the information.
Have you set the tank size?
