SSU 2.5.18 - ON AIR

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos No. I only connect my watch to Movescount using the USB power cord. I’ve never done anything like make routes in SA that would mess with that, either.
-
@ianshowalter I had once before 2.5.18 in August an activity that took ages for the activity to save and then the watch rebooted after stuck.
Never again.
Can you press with Suuntolink send logs and pass me the ID ?

Here’s the ID number: 634161718076659
In the meantime discovered something else: immediately before that stretching session, I did 36 minutes on a crosstrainer. That workout saved to the watch without any problem, and it’s fully intact in my logbook, on the Suunto App, and on the Movescount web site. But, I’ve noticed that the recovery time I accumulated during that workout and the calories burned from that workout are both missing from my watch’s current recovery time display and today’s active calories burned total. So whatever caused the problem looks like it must have actually begun with that previous crosstrainer workout.

Odd behavior setting an alarm…random numbers appear dashed out on the S9

Thanks! Edited above

@Yannis-Belouris thanks just got it.

After today’s run I can confirm that measuring altitude during a run after the watch has gotten thoroughly soaked in the rain is vastly improved over what it used to be in that circumstance. I used to get some wild variations when that happened; it looks like the update fixed that.
-
Sample size of 3 but tracking has been great post update. Noticeably better than the trusty A3P on two of the three runs
-
On SST, add far as I tested it, seems sobbed the battery indication bug who showed a totally crazy value (for example: it shows 50% and when you connect it to charge, it changes to 18%).
Last test, it was showing 45% and when connected, 43%, which seems fine.

After the update, the sync with SA is coming back to normal (not stuck during “preparing sync”). We have to wait few days to confirm because an update it is almost like a reset, no?
App stuck again. The duration increase slowly day by day, now it’s almost 20s. ++

What do you think of the weekly training summary? I feel its a non-feature because it’s not persistent.
To clarify: currently I’ve disabled standby background lighting. The summary popped up, but the watch was to dark to read it. Intuitively I pressed the middle button and it was gone…
Feature wise I would expect it to be persistent so that I can review it, when I want to. For example in the training insight area…
What do you think?
-
I fully agree, i’ve missed it too (pressing the middle button) so I couldn’t tell which data is shown…
-
@borgelkranz Why don’t you create a new post as a feature request for this? I agree 100%

You are right. Done.

did a 5k treadmill workout today but S9 was way off. Treadmill measured 5k watch 4k. 1k difference in five. Usually there is a 2-300m difference in 10k runs but this was too much.
Has anyone else seen something similar?
-
That’s very boring
you no longer reported the problem or am I wrong? -

Hi everyone,
I tested autolaps settings yesterday. i made a mistake by setting 2km per lap instead of 20km. Once you click on Start, you can’t edit this setting.

Hello,
With Suunto 9, is there any way for deleting all of the moves stored in the diary in one time ? I did not find any command in the watch and the only way I have found is to delete them one by one which is not handy at all.
Thanks.
