Vertical 2 External HRM Pairing Issues

For the life of me I cannot get an external HRM to pair after more than one activity.
I will pair the HRM, workout no problem. Next session, the HRM cannot be found unless I delete and repair the sensor.
I have tried:

Watch soft reset
-
Polar H9 and Suunto HRM (both with current and fresh batteries)
I have no hair, but I’m pulling my hair out because this is driving me nuts. I run relying heavily on ZoneSense but I’m not going to spend five minutes before each run trying to troubleshoot my sensors.

@stromdiddily I had to go to the “sensors” menu in the activity start screen and tell it to use the HRM I wanted to use, the second time I went for a run. After that, it automatically recognized it.
The issue seemed to have come about because/when I paired two different HRMs and the watch didn’t know which one to use, so to say. (So maybe also try just pairing one of them…)
