I’d like to suggest using colour on the activity screens to give additional info about values being displayed.

My first suggestion would be to use colour to indicate a direction of change for basic values like pace, hr, power etc. As an example, say you are showing current pace on an activity screen then it could be coloured orange, green or blue based on whether it is slower, the same as or faster than the 10 second average pace. This would work for a lot of basic values.

The idea here is that you can see both your pace and whether you are slowing or accelerating compared to the recent average in a single glance from a single number.

The second suggestion may not be possible because of how suunto+ workouts work but colour could be used to indicate if you are in the workout step target zone. As an example if you are following a suunto+ workout based on a pace range then on other activity screens where pace is shown then it could be green or red depending on if you are in or out of range in the same way the range arc works on the workout screen.

A third option could be to colour the pace, hr and/or power value based on the configured zones for that value.

For the value showing in the bottom ‘tooth’ it could be the background that changes colour rather than the text.
