OHR recording stopped working in Race S with SW 2.50.25
-
Does anybody have issue with the OHR measure and SW 2.50.26 on Race S?
Everything stopped working 3 days ago so no sleep tracking, HRV…anymore.
I contacter Suunto support and did a factory reset, didn’t help, problem still persists. -
@flyinono Yeah in fact. During sports, e.g. walking, I’ve absurdly high peaks since the update. Until yet, I couldn’t figure out the circumstances but at least it happens quite regular.

Hi. I’m a new Race S owner (6 days now) and I’m having the same issue. Version 2.50.26. I’ve tried a soft reset several times without success.
I also raised this with Support by email yesterday, but I’ve not had a reply or acknowledgment - is this usual?

@Robin-C-B they should usually reply quite quickly, I reached out to them via the website chat. But basically the proposals I got was to wait the next software release within the next 2 weeks which should potentially fix that or alternatively send the watch back for service. I’m trying to weighing pros and cons waiting the next release and being able to at least record activities but no daily health data anymore or send it back directly
! I hope something is happening soon

@flyinono thanks for that.
It looks like my heart rate and sleep data started recording again at 18:00 yesterday, although I am still missing one day’s heart data and two nights sleep data (I’ll live with that). No idea why it has re-started!
Still no reply from the support team - I’m not impressed TBH.
I see there’s a firmware update to 2.50.28. I’m installing that now - I hope that doesn’t make things worse.
I’m still considering returning the watch, but will give it a couple more days.

@Robin-C-B in case, Suunto just released hotfix 2.50.28, I just installed it and have the OHR back working for now
.
I let you try in case. https://forum.suunto.com/topic/14557/suunto-2.50.28-hot-fix-q4 -
@flyinono thanks. I’ve done the same. I’ll watch and see

@flyinono this is a known regression in 2.50.26, it was reported and ack’ed by Suunto, you’re not alone, OHR stopping during the night which leads to no sleep and hrv data is a known issue.
