Hi Everyone (and hopefully Suunto staff),
I’m posting this to bring attention to a critical issue I’ve encountered. For context, I have been using activity trackers for nearly 15 years and recently switched to Suunto after using various other smartwatches.

Unfortunately, after updating to the newest OS (2.50.28), the heart rate tracking during workouts has become unreliable. As you can see in the attached screenshot, my pace remains constant, yet my HR spikes aggressively for no apparent reason.

Coming from a sales and marketing background, this reminds me of the “Blackberry” era—great hardware let down by inconsistent software. Suunto’s build quality is incredible, but the software feels unstable. I’ve only been with this brand for a month, but I am already considering switching back because of these issues. If a new user like me is frustrated enough to leave, I imagine many others feel the same.
Please take this note seriously. Without urgent improvements to the software department, I fear for the brand’s longevity.
