      Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a funny/weird feedback I got from Suunto Coach.
I don’t wear my Suunto watch at night (I use another device for sleep tracking), yet the Coach provided this summary:

      1. Recovery is excellent: It claims I’m fully recovered and ready for “high-level performance.”
      2. Sleep duration is too low: It warns me that I’m not sleeping enough.
It seems the algorithm is “guessing” a high recovery state based on the absence of recorded activity, while simultaneously flagging low sleep because it lacks heart rate data during the night.
In my case, this is quite misleading as my actual physiological markers (HRV/rMSSD) might tell a different story regarding my thermal stress or nervous system fatigue. It would be great if the Coach could identify when data is simply missing rather than interpreting “zero data” as “perfect rest.”
To give some context, my actual recovery data from other sensors shows why this “Excellent Recovery” status is inaccurate. While the watch sees “zero load,” my physiological markers are currently under watch:
        • HRV Reference: My normal rMSSD range is 28-39 ms. If I drop below 27 ms for three consecutive nights, I consider it a recovery red flag.
