Low step count after waking up until reboot

I’ve noticed a recurring issue with my Suunto watch and was wondering if others experience the same.

Sometimes after waking up, my step count stays extremely low or doesn’t increase at all, even though I’m clearly moving around.

As soon as I restart the watch, step tracking immediately starts working normally again.
