The rumors on Insta and the like said that today, with the release of the Vert Limited Edition, a big update for Race 2 etc. was supposed to come as well. Does anyone know anything?

@Urban-Panda since I am not under NDA, like @brad_olwin might be, and having in possession a Vertical 2 90th I can confirm that it has a newer firmware (FW 2.52.8) that addresses previously reported bugs and requests.

I did notice better recognition of new BT sensors when starting an Activity but that’s just a first impression.

From what I have read in the Spanish telegram forum and it should come by the end of the month:
1.- Improvements in swimming (drills and intervals (with manual laps?, I do not know if make sense, not a swimmer myself))
2.- Improvements in multisport.
3.- Big update in navigation, auto re-routing using offline maps in the app.I have got this three points.

What I also have read is that some of the updates might not come fully to the Vertical 1, V1 is running out of RAM. They are working to try to free some RAM and implement the maximum of the features, but could be that some things come later.

@cosme.costa That’s obvious. Sooner or later, it has to happen. Considering the age of HW V1, support is still long-lasting, and Suunto gets a thumbs up for that.

no update with shipping the 90 years edition.
But it is worth to wait for the Q1 update (that might actually arrive early in Q2 ;))

@Egika keeping fingers crossed it will also be an update of the FW 2.52.8 (90th) as Bluetooth disconnect problem still persists (at least partially).
