@JoeBloggs2791 Maybe do a soft reset first and try again? You can also try and leave it to fully drain the battery and start from 0. Finally, hard reset and if persists contact service.

Are you sure the adapter is fine?

@Horizontal_2 I agree - would check cable/charging set up. What are you plugging into?

@JoeBloggs2791 I mean: is the out put strong enough? Sometimes there are weak adapters like 5W. I use a 15W adapter to charge my SV2

@Horizontal_2 is the output high enough on an apple USB-C plug?!

@JoeBloggs2791 said in Slow charging continued.:

To continue the saga of my Vertical 2 slow charging, I’ve contacted Suunto and they are ‘reviewing’ my case with a 5-7 day timeframe.

I can’t even hard reset the watch as it hasn’t reached 40% battery. It was charging from 1900 to 0530 and went from 7% to 26%. Its now been stuck at 30% for an hour or so.

I read about Suunto’s poor customer service but I’m beginning to regret leaving Garmin.

It is either a defective cable, or the watch. Unless you can do some self tests with multi meter, I’d recommend to send the watch AND the cable to service designated for your location. Unless they have the watch with the cable in for testing, any remote “reviewing the case” is nonsense and won’t solve anything.

Have you tried powering the watch down and then putting on the charger?
