Suunto Race 2 snap to route error..

Just been on a 14km run this morning and thought I’d try out the snap to route feature on a route I created in the Suunto route planner. For some reason after around 800m, the watch beeped to tell me I’d done 1km…the rest of the route was okay, but obviously the final distance is incorrect…pretty annoying actually!
This part of the route is pretty open and has never caused GPS errors in the past so I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem?
