      Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the elevation gain reported on my Suunto Race S and wanted to check if this is normal or a possible defect.

For about the past two weeks, during my runs in the city (mostly flat routes), the total elevation gain at the end of the activity seems way too high compared to the actual terrain. Even on flat courses, the watch reports significant elevation gain.

      I’ve already tried:

      • cleaning the barometric sensor
      • restarting the watch
      • waiting for a proper GPS fix before starting

However, the issue is still there.

      Has anyone experienced something similar?
Could this be a barometer/calibration issue, or a hardware defect?

Thanks in advance for any help 🙏
