Update 3.25.18
-
This is a very big feature that’s holding many people in Garmin land. I hope Suunto brings this to the rest of Suunto watches. I think this will improve Suunto Run sales

-
I just updated the watch. I hope this update will fix the error of losing connection with the heart rate monitor. I use a Suunto smart belt and almost every training I have a disconnection between the watch and the heart rate strap.
-
@BokiRun me to. Will test today and report back.
-
The issue with lost bluetooth connection to Suunto Chest Strap is still present

-
@Nelson-Diogo Yes! Very cool and a very useful feature the ‘continue later’ option
-
@Nelson-Diogo I understand how you feel, and like you, I’m a little frustrated by the very limited improvements in the RUN updates. I don’t think I’m going to keep my copy.
-
@ADidier I see, I’m a little bit disappointed also but I hope things get better and I’m quite satisfied with the Suunto Run despite everything.
-
I hope Suunto roll this feature out to all watches that can support it in the near future.
-
@Nelson-Diogo I ran 17 km this morning. And there was no loss of connection between the watch and the heart rate strap. But we’ll see what happens tomorrow. But the same thing happened before. Sometimes I finish training and the watch does not lose connection with the heart rate belt.
-
Still the issue with messages example whatsapp you get the message read it on the phone or delete it but it says on the watch. You can reboot reconnect whatever you like it stays there until you delete it from the watch.
Basic and they did not fix that -
@BokiRun after the initial issues when I got the chest strap I thought it might be a low battery issue and I exchanged it to a another one thinking it was the same recommended 2025 but it wasn’t. I’m using 2032 so I ordered some 2025 from Duracell just to be sure it is not a battery issue. This weekend I will test and report back.
Are you using the recommended 2025?
-
I don’t know what the battery is. I’ll check. But I was thinking of trying to replace the battery. This morning, during training, the watch lost connection with the heart rate monitor again. So the problem still exists. This takes approximately 30 to 45 seconds and then the connection is re-established.
