Touch screen suggestions..

I like that the touch screen can now be used to navigate the different watch data fields when exercising. I noticed that when it gets to the map page though, a swipe with the finger moves the map rather than going to the next screen…I think it would be better if you had to press the middle button first to move the map around.
Another thing is it would be nice if you could slide the lap data page up and down with your finger as you can’t see more than the last few if you’re on a long activity. -

If I use the maps I’m more likely to look around than to move to and other data screen, so for me it is much more obvious that swiping on the map moves the map.My previous watch, a garmin forerunner 965, had the behavior you suggest, where you first had to push buttons before you could pan the map. So annoying.

@elbee I’m the opposite. I just use the map to follow a preset course so I don’t need to move it, especially now with the new update, I can leave it zoomed out and it will zoom I as I approach a turn.
I get what you’re saying though, so I guess making it an option that you can toggle would be a better idea.
