Weather Sync Bug

Hello all, I just got my Suunto run today. However I am having some issues with the weather widget on it. It will tell my weather when scrolling through the widgets or as a complication on a watch face. However, when I click on the widget it just tells me that I need to sync to see weather. This I have done repeatedly and have not gotten anywhere. I have the Suunto app setup properly such that location is always on and precise, and background app refresh is on. I have restarted, then when that didn’t work reset the watch, and therefore deleted the Suunto app, forgot the device and then reconnected it to my phone. However, the issue persists
Any help would be greatly appreciated

@Matthew-0 Maybe a dumb question, but have you already been out and let the watch aquire some satellite link to get your position?

The app on the phone retrieves the weather data and it uses the (global) position of the phone, not that of the watch.
The behavior as described by the OP I see when the suunto app is closed on my iPhone. If it is still running in the background all is fine and weather data can be synchronized to the watch.
