Pool mode? How to delete an activity from Dive stats?

Hi all. Brand new to the Suunto Nautic S. I have two questions that hopefully someone can answer, because I haven’t been able to find an answer online.

Is there a ‘pool mode’? Meaning, the watch won’t store the dive after it’s complete. Garmin (the one I have experience with) has a setting that automatically deletes dives after they are done. It’s great for pool practice dives. I can’t find a similar setting on my Nautic S.
After the dive finished, I deleted the dive. It didn’t sync with the Suunto app, so that’s good. The issue is that the deleted dive’s stats still appear in the watch’s Dive Log widget/stats. I can’t figure out how to delete it. It’s only my first dive, so I’m ok with deleting all the stats if that’s possible.
