      Hello,
I’ve tested the Race 2’s swimrun mode several times by activating the Swimrun app (SuuntoPlus). This app is supposed to detect transitions automatically, but it doesn’t.
In the Suunto app, it’s as if there were only one running segment.
That’s really a shame because it really limits the usefulness of the swimrun mode.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Swimrun app on the watch, but it didn’t make any difference.
      😭
Has anyone managed to use the swimrun mode successfully?

      Thanks !

@microniko Correct, the S+ app cannot change sport modes. While it should detect the changes it will still record only one activity.
This S+ is kind of a legacy app.

You can now define your own Swimrun sport mode.
Please go to sport mode customization and select to create a Mulstisport activity -> Swimrun.
Choose of your preferred running and swimming sport modes and select to repeat both until you stop the whole thing.

It will then record a multisport activity.

          Thanks @egika for your reply.

I found another thread here where I see that the same problem already existed with the first Race (!)

          @Egika said in swimrun mode:

It’s a bit confusing because the app’s description clearly states that it can detect transitions.
The swimrun sport app also creates laps from each run and swim section (…)

So I tried creating a multisport mode called swimrun. I chose the automatic transition mode. I hope it works.
However, I didn’t quite understand what the repeat option is for (repeat the sport modes in sequence).

I’ll let you know how it goes after my next run, as soon as the weather permits 🤞 .

@microniko Yes, the S+ app does (or should) detect the transitions and create laps. Just this happens all within the single sport mode (running). So you end up with a running activity that has laps for when you change in and out of swimming.

            Repeat option:
Without repeat, you get just Run -> Swim -> end
If your event is more than just one swim and one run, then you would want Run -> Swim -> Run -> Swim -> Run -> Swim
and so on, until you end the whole thing. This is repeating.
