HR broadcast to Wahoo still not working in 2.56.18 đ
-
Despite reporting this here https://forum.suunto.com/post/189408 this issue still hasnât been fixed in the latest firmware (at least not for Vertical 2).
Wahoo (Bolt V2 in my case) pairs successfully with the watch and identifies it as a HR sensor, however it is unable to present the HR. I suspect that this could be related to the fact that the watch is identified by Wahoo as an ANT+ device (ID 14400 or so).
Iâd love this to be fixed in the next release
If you have similar issues with other Wahoo devices or watches, please respond here.
Donât respond if you just want to argue about how useful this feature is. I would really want it. -
@gkaempfer I have already opened a support ticket for this, but it would be great if you also do, that might draw more attraction on this issueâŠ

@johann.fuehrer support ticket opened. So far only got AI bot repliesâŠ

@gkaempfer I used âsupport@suunto.comâ (use same sender email adress as it is here registered for your account, I also added a link to my profile) and got a personal and nice reply. Might not be fixed very quickly (as I see patch cycle is about 3 month) but letâs see.

I will report this.
-
@johann.fuehrer I did the same. Just so far there was just a laconic answer (upload logs, state versions etc.). Clearly this is an issue that Suunto can recreate easily (assuming they have a Wahoo device to test with)âŠ
-
@gkaempfer For me the same issue. Wahoo Bolt 2.
-
@gkaempfer Same Wahoo Roam 2
thx for pushing this forward! -
This is now being investigated, and it will hopefully be fixed in the next release. I have no Wahoo hardware so will not be able to test it though

So no fix for at least 3 months. In my professional work that would be unheard of.
maybe just lower priority? lower reported cases?

Long release cycle and no option to release hot fixes.

@André-Faria I work in car fleet management. We struggle to even get a car booked in for diagnostics in that time with Main Dealers.

How would you feel if you contacted one of those dealers about a car and they would say, we fixed the issue.
You would ask, when can I pick it up?
And they would say, we have a release moment 4 times a year when all fixed cars can be picked up. Yours will be ready with the q4 release.
