Coros announced the Pace 4 Pro for September 22nd; it is clearly a direct competitor to the Suunto Race 3S.
I’m not sure if it makes sense. If a Race 3S is indeed in the works—as everything suggests—Suunto might want to get a head start to generate buzz and drive sales beforehand; the market is certainly becoming very aggressive lately.

ohhh sad news for my wallet…
I’m turning it in every directions but I think I just have to resign facing multiple arguments…

• It’s been too long since i bought my last suunto watch (SRs to second my SV1), and accessories don’t count as purchases => buy a SRs3
• My wife’s S9pp seems to get tired=> I should give her my SRs => she could give her S9pp to my daughter => buy a SRs3 for me
• I love my wife too much and her S9pp seems to get tired => buy a SRs3 for my wife
• My son as started to run => I should give him my SRs => buy a SRs3 for me
  …
  I don’t know how to avoid fate…

And considering the options, I almost start to understand that I could need to buy 2 if I want everybody wearing a Suunto at home and make no jealous among my wife and kids (and counting 2 watches for me…)

@martintrail I agree on all points. Amazfit does seem very up and coming. Maybe it is time to give one a try to see what it is all about. The YouTube bros don’t seem to like them too too much, but then they only seem to get excited about Garmin and Apple Watches.

@BastMaSVSRS9PP I think that is super accurate. I have heard them mention the lack of clicks on Coros and Suunto in the past. GPSLlama has also said that there are far fewer clicks on Karoo videos. So it be.

@Wilson75 looks like Run 2, Suunto usualy have different watchface for different watch unles Race 3S is somehow the same watch

Don’t remember if links are allowed (photos not) but on Reddit there’s photo of Race 3 box (or race3, the ,S" could be not on screen) I have no idea if that’s AI or not, for me seems quite legit. Also new watchface quite similar to Run 2 and last NEXUS watchface.

Name of thread ,Need a new watch, how close is Race 3 ??" and photo with label ,Oktoberfest". Decide on Your own if it’s fake or not
