      Hi everyone,

I’ve searched the forum but couldn’t find any reports of this issue.

The custom data fields below the map don’t seem to work properly on the Vertical 2.

Sometimes they work in Walking mode, but they don’t work in Running or Trail Running.

After selecting the data fields to display, tapping on the small data window doesn’t change anything.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I think you have to set them for every activity. They are not global. (And very hard to reach. From a usability standpoint they are a disaster)

Do you have touch enabled in your sport’s mode Exercise options > Touch ?
Set to On, or Map only

@Squirrel That was exactly the issue! I enabled touch for the map, and now it works perfectly. Thanks a lot!

@Squirrel Arguably, “Map Only” should be the default touch setting. Without it a lot of essential features don’t work. On other screens the touch is optional, but on the map it is not.

Furthermore, before the touch option was introduced a few updates ago, “map only” was essentially the default behavior.

@sky-runner Map only indeed is the default setting

@Egika Indeed! It looks like this has been changed recently because some time ago “no touch” was the default. I remember having to explicitly enable touch.
