I own a Suunto Race S and I am interested in developing a custom watch face for personal use, called “Race 2 Total”, inspired by the original Race 2 watch face.

I have installed the SuuntoPlus Editor extension for Visual Studio Code and tested versions 1.42.1, 1.42.0 and 1.41.0.

Unfortunately, the command “SuuntoPlus: Open SuuntoPlus Visual Editor (Beta)” fails with the following error:

      command ‘suuntoplus.openVisualEditor’ not found

The SuuntoPlus App Configurator only offers “Feature” and “Device” project types, with no option to create a watch face.

My intended watch face would include:

A large digital clock with seconds and date.

Four individually customizable complications for weather, barometric pressure, wind and altitude.

A weekly training graph showing activity from Monday to Sunday.

Weekly totals for training hours and distance across all sports, including hiking.

A minimalist always-on display showing only a large clock.

      Could you please clarify:

Is there currently an official SDK or tool for creating custom watch faces for the Suunto Race S?

Can developers create and install .wfa files, and is the required documentation publicly available?

Is the Visual Editor (Beta) supposed to work in the current VS Code extension, or is this functionality not yet released?

Can custom watch faces access weekly multisport training history and support customizable complications and a separate always-on display?

Is there a developer program or beta testing opportunity for watch face creation?

I would be happy to test any available tools and provide feedback.

Thank you very much for your help.
