New Suunto app is good but please make Ambit 3 Peak fully compatible with it having all the features that Movescount provide. Suunto is a great company and I believe its watches are better than Garmin’s. Don’t ruin this image by reducing Ambit 3 Peak’s usability through the Suunto App.
-
@Hitesh-Aggarwal: +1 ! Fully agree ! We deserve to have a decent app and connectivity !
-
+1. Agree.
-
-
Please also make Suunto Traverse fully compatible with Suunto App. Have a nice day.
-
Fully agree!
-
@Hitesh-Aggarwal fully agree too.
I’m new in the suunto family I’m a new owner of an ambit 3 peak, I decided to moove to suunto for the good reputation of the company and products, and just after my purchase I discover that I have a watch that is going into programmed obsolescence…
It’s very sad, also because I bought a A3P that on the website is still on sell at 349-399 euros (not exactly on doscount…) and it’s not written anywhere that will not be supported…
I think that suunto with a very little effort have the opportunity to defend their image and make the owner satisfied giving them full compatibility with the app functions, like route planning and transferring and watch interface personalization… -
@francescobaldi
it surprises me that Suunto still sells A3P with this specs.
I mean it is a great watch, no reason to take it off the market!But they say: watch customization and data transfer: wireless/usb cable
phone as secondary display of watch: with movescount app
and post analysis of multisport exercise by sport: in Suunto Movescount.com
everything points towards Movescount but instead they should place a hint for the transition and the future alternatives

@Hitesh-Aggarwal 100% Agreed

Regarding the May news
https://www.suunto.com/pt-pt/Content-pages/digital-service-transition/Shouldn’t we be getting emails?
I find quite annoying that every week I receive the same sales/discounts from suunto but never news from digital transition.
Is it the same for everybody?
I even unsubscribed the suunto newsletter because of that (which is a pity because usually suunto provides good content).
If you really need to “clean the stock” I think it may be other ways (and more efficient) than bugging actual users, specially the ones that may not be that happy about some suunto decisions. -
@André-Faria , maybe they are adding some personal touch to those update mails and it just takes few week/months longer ?
I received my last on in Dec. 2019, there was some delay but at leas they showed up in a week or so after transition page was updated -
@margusl

@margusl
what update mails?
I have several MC accounts, some of those have only Ambit1 connected, others have Ambit1 & Ambit3. Those were registered with different email aliases but all the mails end up in the same inbox. As you can see from mail count (2nd column, right after “Suunto”), not all those accounts get same update mails. -
What is this one ?
-
Hi @André-Faria,
The current situation with the coronavirus may affects to the normal activity of every company, included Suunto. I’m very caution in this “lock down”.

The web service for Movescount is a fundamental part of our current digital services and we continue to assess its most important and utilized functionalities. We will share updates in the coming months, as we know they are particularly relevant for those connecting exclusively by cable to the web, like Ambit and Ambit 2.

-Your Suunto team
They have it on https://www.suunto.com/Content-pages/digital-service-transition/?setcountry=en as well if you scroll it down to Previous updates . But here’s a strange bit, Previous updates is actually missing from some localized pages, so if you can’t see it there, switch to global or US.
