    HELLO,

Someone happens that the rain alarm does not work. Or it sounds when it’s sunny or does not warn when it rains or is about to rain. Any solution?

Hi I suppose you mean the storm alarm.
For the storm alarm to trigger you need the pressure to drop about 3hpa in 3 hours.
Not all storms drop pressure. Only those that come fast and unpredicted can cause this.

I have seen this multiple times on my Ambit 3 Peak. On my Suunto 9 I have only seen this while not in an activity.

Can someone confirm that this is also working during an activity and where the warning indicator will be displayed then on the Suunto 9?

@surfboomerang I turned it off on my SSU because it kept giving me a storm alarm during alpine skiing on a sunny day without a cloud in sight - but we were doing roughly 70-80 km/h average on a nice steep slope over and over again. 😎 It does work, but maybe needs a better filter based on your dsc and asc speeds combined with GPS speed.

I haven’t turned it on since and rely on my surroundings and online weather predictions.

@fejker Did you configured your Alpine sports mode as Barometric profile then?
I never had those issues during snowboarding.

@surfboomerang I have tried all three - baro, alti and auto and all fail on multiple days. Now with SA I can’t find a way to change the barometer option.

It had disappeared indeed. No idea how (and if) it works now.
I have had storm alarms with my S9, but never during an activity. That is why I am curious if someone have had those alarms.
It is also no longer possible to see barometric values during an activity on the S9 so I can’t check myself. 😔
