S9b: Modify altitude reference during activity (Hiking)

I have a question how can I modify the altitude of my watch (S9b) during activity, especially regarding the hiking activity?
I have tried everything without success…

Why I ask this question? Because sometimes the altitude is not accurate, because you pass through a refuge and check the altitude or at the top of a summit.

So I want to correct that, but it is impossible

PS: I know how you can do it very simply when no activity is launched, but sometime before launching the activity you forget to check the watch altitude and if it is accurate.

As you’ve already seen, it cant be done atm, as it is supposed to be correct due to FusedAlti.

If you search the forum you’ll find a bunch of discussion about it.

Just a technical question on this.
As I only had Ambit 1 and now SSU, I have never had the ability to correct altitude on the go.

How a manual altitude correction during a move will affect the past altitude profil?

I thought about the similar question, too… how does it change the past profile when fusedalti does a correction?
the assumption must be that the start alti is correct, right?
if I start anywhere in hight and would manually change alti reference at any known point, should it correct start alti backwards?

@TELE-HO FusedAlti does change it backwards, basically assuming that there had been an offset from the beginning.
this makes sense since the algorithm needs to sample for 10-12mins before doing adjustments. There was a bug in earlier versions of the app, that showed the jumping altitude after FusedAlti kicked in. Normally this is automatically considered when viewing the data.
then, after the initial correction, altitude is constantly adjusted as long as GPS has a certain accuracy (good reception). The constant (slight) adjustments don’t change the data backwards.

I noticed with my today’s “walk in the park”, I’ve manually adjusted alti to what I THOUGHT is the right alti (at around 11 am) then I went by train to the start point and selected “auto adjust” (around 12:30 pm). before auto adjust it showed 411m, after 422m. 5minutes later I started the activity and the summary the showed lowest point 411m… how does that happen? I only moved uphill after my start at the lakeside.
