Would love to know if you can view barometer and altitude widgets like you can on the 9 Baro or Fenix series.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos No OHR I’d imagine with a cradle like this?
See! That’s why we need heart rate sensors! Before you know, @Brad_Olwin will be running ultras in S7, with 5000 mAh strapped to his forearm. Good ol’ days are back! Now with full color maps and music in tow. I love progress!

The good news is that it’s WearOS. You can just listen to environmental sensor events and pluck your data. Drop it on one of those fancy tiles (aka widgets in Garmin’s parlance) and there you go!
I cried my little greedy tears, pre-ordered S7 yesterday. Might as well do it myself if Suunto doesn’t rise to the occasion.

@Storz if there is one out there yes. Did not search a lot tbh. I had one watchface made in the past for my moto360sport (2015) and seems to be working. Showing altitude / pressure etc.
Now would be great if there were widgets for those but I could not find any
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos As in it shows a snapshot of the baro/alti or a graph of the change over time?
-
@Storz my watchface, only current. IT aint that good one honestly. Was my first play with coding on Android.

Thanks , so it might work for me as i spent most of the day at the office desk.
-
@danisius depends on what you seek but despite hand or not the charger sits better on a desk than the current spartans / S series do.
However, the magnet is less strong.

I suppose that charger of S 9 is compatiable with Suunto 7. Is that correct?
-
@danisius ITS NOT COMPATIBLE

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos said in Suunto 7:
@danisius correct
Sure? It looks completely different to me.
-
Oh I am wrong. I mean 100% incopatible. let me correct that
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos how this could have happened?
The owner of the S9 and S7 needs:
- two charging cables
- two phones for one application with two watches.
Crazy

There is an app you can access at anytime and it will even chart altitude changes, it comes with a compass app too.
I want this watch

@Brad_Olwin Perhaps, Suunto should bundle this into S7 Ultra edition. They can even embed OHR sensor into this thing and have heart rate delivered to S7 via the charging/data wire. #InstantWin #WhoNeedsSensors
-
@Maryn you actually do not need two phones. I change watches on one phone with one app daily. It is easy to forget one watch in the app and add another, the daily activity will be accumulated as long as only one watch is worn at a time. I typically have 3 to 4 in rotation for testing

I thought daily activity was only delivered into Suunto app by non S7 watches, with S7 feeding Google Fit? Or is it changing?
