@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos how this could have happened?
The owner of the S9 and S7 needs:
- two charging cables
- two phones for one application with two watches.
Crazy

Would love to know if you can view barometer and altitude widgets like you can on the 9 Baro or Fenix series.
There is an app you can access at anytime and it will even chart altitude changes, it comes with a compass app too.
I want this watch

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos No OHR I’d imagine with a cradle like this?
See! That’s why we need heart rate sensors! Before you know, @Brad_Olwin will be running ultras in S7, with 5000 mAh strapped to his forearm. Good ol’ days are back! Now with full color maps and music in tow. I love progress!
-
@Brad_Olwin Perhaps, Suunto should bundle this into S7 Ultra edition. They can even embed OHR sensor into this thing and have heart rate delivered to S7 via the charging/data wire. #InstantWin #WhoNeedsSensors

@Maryn you actually do not need two phones. I change watches on one phone with one app daily. It is easy to forget one watch in the app and add another, the daily activity will be accumulated as long as only one watch is worn at a time. I typically have 3 to 4 in rotation for testing

I thought daily activity was only delivered into Suunto app by non S7 watches, with S7 feeding Google Fit? Or is it changing?

You are correct, not now and not sure it will, although there is hope from DCRainmakers statements. I kinda quit tracking my daily activity since I wear the S7 a lot and have not figured out yet how to get GoogleFit data into Health.

Don’t know if this was posted here but very cool video from Suunto employee and a chance to win an S7!

@Brad_Olwin app name?

Appfour = quality apps

@Brad_Olwin Very cool, thanks.
-
@pilleus FYI I could select from my pc to be installed on the watch and it did
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Now you are just teasing all of us who have to wait another 3 weeks. But yes, remote install is a fairly sweet feature on Android and by extension Wear.

@NickK
I’m glad I’m not the only one who can’t handle patience very well -
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I bought this one with several intstruments.

@Brad_Olwin
… yesss… make me jealous being in boulder…I frequently see people wearing apple watches and also in the gym playing around with it… I see a good market for this… but since I actually am an Ambit guy the S9 is already a big toy for myself.
I wont keep people from buying S7, but I don’t see this as a watch for me. I still have my A3PS but will give it to a friend of mine for testing…
I can’t handle 2 watches -

Now you see why I like this watch even though S9 is my go to for exercising. The WearOS opens up a bunch of opportunities for customization that were not there before
Hear, hear! You are preaching to the converted really! At least as @NickK is concerned
If only Suunto added external heart rate… and a footpod. And intervals. And maybe sports modes customization Then this magnificent device would have gone from a daily driver and an occasional recovery training tool to something that covers upward of 80% of my training. Of course, you can’t make everyone happy. But you can try!
