          @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thanks for the help, but really looks like the watch has almost no better left left (I get sometimes a Suunto screen / red battery screen), and no way to charge it (laptop or plug). I’m gonna to cry alone and eat a lot of ice cream now

            @jean-william-cousin make sure it is connected well. When I fiddle with the watch on the charger it often loses the charging connection.

              No worries, my original order still shows a Tuesday Feb 4 delivery 🙂

                Well crap just got this email from Amazon, though it still shows a Tuesday delivery I suspect that will change 😞

                  @Storz Got it for my cancelled order too. Yes, cancelled and no longer showing in my app. That being said, my second order so far hasn’t been transferred from Amazon to USPS despite being marked as shipped at 1:30am. So, I will believe I have S7 when I see it on my doorstep.

                  (Should have gone with Clever Training. They confirmed stock and were going to begin shipping pre-orders today. Sigh 😢 )

                            Battery drain

                            Left home yesterday at 7:30

                            3 countries. 20min run, many app updates and fiddling , also trying to run qs on s7 via a browser.

                            Also many debug apps as you see and the instruments app recording altitude.

                            Tons of vibrations due to family issue (thus the traveling).

                            I am not sure but I think it’s ok

                                This is literally bad. I hope it’s an isolated case.

                                Let me ask you to check this. Could you check , no joke, with some utilities if the charger (pins) give current ? (Voltage )

                                Another thing to tell me please : holding the upper left button what happens (not connected to charger )

                                  @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos holding upper left button without charger : no reaction. There used to be the Suunto screen + charging screen for 2s before returning to black screen.

                                  And I don’t have the tools to check if the cable is faulty at home, can check that tomorrow…

                                    The cable does something though, because when I plug the watch to my laptop I randomly gets the Suunto screen (without touching the buttons or the screen)

                                      Maybe the base doesn’t make contact ?
                                      Have you tried to push the pins ? Maybe some of it is stuck

                                          and then there is my case: the watch was to be delivered today. At 7 he left … but in the opposite direction to my house. He arrived at a wrong courier warehouse. So he went back. And it seems that he never moved from there

                                            Happy story for a Friday night : after leaving the watch charging for 2 hours (with a black screen, no reaction at all), then it started and I’ve just done the initial setup. Time to play now 🙃

                                            It’s good to know I guess that the initial power charge can take a while and is mandatory to start the setup!
