Suunto 7
-
@jorgefd78 its actually a problem that demand is high and Suunto due to this cannot sell.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos This is one of the better ways to have a problem as far as Suunto is concerned I’d imagine.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos make the S7 in Finland!
-
@Bulkan @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I did not think in coronavirus for the stock because I thought that S7 was made in Finland
-
@The_77 what do you mean ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos demand outstripping supply as opposed to the demand not being there.
-
@Bulkan That wouldn’t change things much regarding coronavirus. Even if the watch was made in Finland many of the components will still come from China
-
@The_77 ah yes!

one moth since launched and Suunto is still out of stock en black colors. Maybe they are waiting for a new firmware with the most critical complaints to release the watch again?
If suunto add the multi-watch compatibility of SA so i buy S7 for daily use and weekly training. I will used my S9 for race or weekends trip…
-
@Mi_chael agreed.

Another report about battery life.
Mountain biking (path), no AOD, bluetooth connected to phone, about 15 notifications during the activity, often checked the data
2:35 hours = 20 % battery usage (93 -> 73 %)
That’s okay, rides with 10 hours should be no problem.

@Brad_Olwin sell the S7 (to me) and buy a new apple watch
I have an Apple Watch 4:). And, very sorry, my S7 is a pre-production model and would be very expensive:)

@jorgefd78 Coronavirous. Not only Suunto but many companies including Apple
Sadly yes. My 3.0 WHOOP strap died a premature death almost three weeks ago, and I’m still waiting for replacement even though the replacement was processed instantly. Everything’s on backorder. Good timing for Suunto! They got the new watch right in time!
-
In what time do you recharge your s7?
Mine with a charger or power bank took 68 minutes…more fast than 100 minutes that say suunto.
Yours? -
I’ve been using my Suunto 7 again for a week. I was cycling in the mountains and compared with Suunto 9. GPS track the same as S9 or better. Unfortunately, he strongly distorts at heights. Suunto 9 elevation showed 1050m, Suunto 7 1200m. Corrections have been made on Stravie and Runalyze. The correct value is 1039. Unfortunately, no external heart rate monitor. Every day is a great watch, notifications the ability to respond in messengers. Currently, I don’t actually use Suunto application. I have steps in Google Fit, I don’t measure sleep, I record activity in S9. I transferred my diary to Runalyze. A few days ago I wrote to Suunto about an update. I received a reply that they do not anticipate any improvements at the moment.

@Michał-Muszyński nice route. I will copy it to my routes and check with bike in near future
-
Today he talked to the Suunto service by phone, he confirmed that he did not plan to update Suunto 7. On the days there will be an update to Suunto 9
-
@Michał-Muszyński there have been many speculations across the web saying that there will be a SW update for the S7. That created some confusion so support will deny this and that is clear instruction.
However, that doesn’t mean that it wont be ever updated. I am running a different sw on mine.
