Suunto 7

In what time do you recharge your s7?
Mine with a charger or power bank took 68 minutes…more fast than 100 minutes that say suunto.
Yours? -
I’ve been using my Suunto 7 again for a week. I was cycling in the mountains and compared with Suunto 9. GPS track the same as S9 or better. Unfortunately, he strongly distorts at heights. Suunto 9 elevation showed 1050m, Suunto 7 1200m. Corrections have been made on Stravie and Runalyze. The correct value is 1039. Unfortunately, no external heart rate monitor. Every day is a great watch, notifications the ability to respond in messengers. Currently, I don’t actually use Suunto application. I have steps in Google Fit, I don’t measure sleep, I record activity in S9. I transferred my diary to Runalyze. A few days ago I wrote to Suunto about an update. I received a reply that they do not anticipate any improvements at the moment.

@Michał-Muszyński nice route. I will copy it to my routes and check with bike in near future
-
Today he talked to the Suunto service by phone, he confirmed that he did not plan to update Suunto 7. On the days there will be an update to Suunto 9
-
@Michał-Muszyński there have been many speculations across the web saying that there will be a SW update for the S7. That created some confusion so support will deny this and that is clear instruction.
However, that doesn’t mean that it wont be ever updated. I am running a different sw on mine.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos said in Suunto 7:

Thanks, it is now deny officially, and it is no more a rumor

@Egika The user manual says that the little hole on the left of the Suunto 7 is the barometer opening.
-
S9 and S7 running training. S7 distorted the heart rate quite strongly, maybe I need to improve the wristwatch. The rest is acceptable. S9 connected with Stryd and Ticker heart rate.

Second week of use S7. At work, I ride a bike and always record my activities. Please note how big the differences are in the heart rate readings. I have a road bike and riding around the city causes a lot of vibration, which causes errors in the correct reading of the pulse.

Hi…
I have written many days ago about what does it means “offset altitude” in suunto app…
Anyone who reply me?
I would ask you another…
In activitie suunto app give me always altitude wrong (last -135 mt…i was 14 meter )
What can i do for having correct readings?
Thanks a lot -
@giulio the offset in the Suunto app is for when using the app to record activities. You probably just have to calibrate your altimeter, and there’s instructions in the manual (I’m sure).
-
@isazi
No…in suunto 7 you can’t calibrate altimeter…
That’s the problem -
@isazi
I read manual…in watch there isn’t way to calibrate.
I have also a garmin fenix 5 and there i can.
On suunto 9 i imagine it is possible also -
@giulio roger that, let’s wait for some of the S7 gurus to help you
-
-
@giulio the s7 autocalibrates the altimeter.
If you compare altitude with some other source please check the mean sea level altitude
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
How to check the main sea level?
I know my altitude on sea level but i cant put in watch or cant put barometric level reference… -
@giulio ok why do you need those ? For time mode or for during an activity ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Thanks!
For during an activity…
For daily time would be the must if suunto make an altimeter app or tile…with option to calibrate,i think
