@surfboomerang If you try “Bearing” while in navigation, does the blue arrow come with a compass bearing in degrees (& north indicator)?

A reasonable interpretation of the blurb. Interestingly staged (possible) functionality:

1. Compass
2. Bearing Lock
3. Temporary POI/GoTo

I gather you get to 3 by adding distance and, if you’ve got it, destination altitude. Can you enter bearing and destination altitude alone?

I just read this part in the Suunto+ Weather description:

Barometric trend and storm alarm
The barometric trend is shown on the bottom of the screen, with current barometric value.
The Suunto storm alarm will be given automatically and shown in this view. A storm symbol is
shown if the pressure drops 4 hPa (0.12 inHg) or more during a 3-hour period.

Does this imply that the storm alarm, already available, in the watch doesn’t work during an activity without this screen?
I did receive storm alerts in watch mode but never during an activity. Always thought the pressure drop wasn’t big enough.

one small design flaw…The yellow sunrise/set icon on the Suunto+ weather page is unreadable against a light background. Dark theme works ok.

Also the outdoor watch face shows a black ring for night part, but when the watch is in lock mode, the night part colors bright. Is this by design?

It should work. I got a notification while recording an activity.

It works with or without the screen. I have been getting Storm Alerts during activities.

@t1sugar When you turn the light on and you tap on the screen with the watchface it should change its appearance. Hope that works.

At this time Suunto app not yet updated to reflect new SuuntoPlus goodies? Went mountain biking with the Suunto Plus weather option on but cannot see it on the app, I was able to see the screen during the workout though

Weather is not pushed to the app.
Try those Training Peaks features - they are synced now.
And maybe try klimat.app to add weather information to your workouts in the app

@Lozen this is because the standby screen is using less resolution and colors to save energy.
also seconds are not shown for the same reason

Tested new FW on S9B, didn’t noticed any bugs, but I had only one trail run. New Suunto+ modes are cool, finally something for users that don’t have Strava or TP.

Just make SA reads that S+ data in seperate section.

@markytarky I’d like the battery level indicator on there, and day and/or date would be good too. Both would be more useful IMHO than the pressure reading, well useful to me anyway

Other than that, nice job. Pretty cool updates and nice to finally have a new watchface to use
