I have had this problem for several days!
When I connect my Ambit2 to the laptop via Suuntolink to sync my workouts with the Suunto app, everything goes well at first, but after 4/5 of the workouts the sync is broken. You will be asked to reconnect the watch. (but the problem keeps coming back)

I have removed and reinstalled Suuntolink but it still does not work.

I have reinstalled Moveslink2 and here I get a good connection.

Any idea what’s wrong with Suuntolink.

    Kind regard,
    Gert

did you already try a watch soft reset ?

      SVTS - 2.40.38
      SSSWHR BARO Amber - 2.8.32
      Samsung A5 2016 - Android 7.0
      Samsung A33 2022 - Android 14 - One UI 6.1
      Suunto App Android 5.2.5 beta
Suunto App IOs 2.45.0 (19123) beta on MBP M1

I know you can reset the GPS, but just reset the watch, I don’t know how to do that.
Or at least not with my ambit2.

Probably something with your logbook entries, as Moveslink2 has been around for quite some time, it’s quite likely it can handle some of those “special” conditions that Suuntolink might be struggling with.

So a clean watch logbook will probably sort it for you. You could start with a 5-button reset - keep all buttons pressed, it takes some time, over 10 seconds for sure. Though I can’t recall if it actually clears the logbook. If it doesn’t, go through “force firmaware update” in Moveslink2. In Suuntolink it was called “restore factory settings” I believe. Both stand for the same thing, just use what you have currently installed.

I’ve done the 5-button reset, then 4 dashes appear, but it doesn’t clear the logbook.

The “force firmware update” in Moveslink2 did the job.

Thanks for the tip regarding the logbook margusl.
