@nickk I really expected the S9P to show quite similar Resources as the S7 too, since it’s the same / similar sensor. And at least for me the S7‘s resources really matched on how I felt and how things were going very closely. I will try a longer breathing meditation in the next days and see it that impacts the S9Ps readings as much as it did the S7s…

Do you wear them at same time? S7 and S9P?

          @lexterm77 I thought about it, but realised I didn’t care that much…

@lexterm77 Why would I? But if you imply my physiology changes mysteriously when I switch to S9P and I need to wear S9P and S7 side-by-side for a true comparison…

Well, I have WHOOP and HRV4T, and their data validates how I feel and suggests my HRV has been fairly stable and sitting closer to the upper end of my normal range. My Garmin concurs. Other people in this forum see similar issues.

At the end of the day, it’s not really about my particular HRV values. It’s about:

            • Long, high quality sleep when one wakes up feeling refreshed and energetic should produce Resource values of 90-100%, not 60-70% (and yes, high quality is confirmed by deep sleep duration, HR/HRV, sleep quality, etc.)

            • There should never be a Resources drain of 10-15% per hour when there’s no past heavy physical exertion or insane psychological stress or illness

            • There should never be a lag in status reporting when I get “active” for being active 30-60 minutes ago or “recovering” when I’m running around but sat quietly half an hour ago

            • Longer naps should produce recharged Resources, not “No resources have been measured” with a complete interruption of 24/7 HR tracking

            • There shouldn’t be unexplained drops in Resources, sometimes on order of 10-15% in half an hour, when one is said to be recharging

I have none of those issues with peak, (other than erratic spo2 readings) did you try putting it on other hand?

I have noticed before a lot of people complaining about resources being exausted on baro for no reason but it very rarely occured on my baro. (When it was worn to loose or to down)

And I am not aware whether FB body resources is updated on peak or not, and whether only difference is that you have a better sensor and presumably less noise because watch is smaller and bounces less.

If I dont have bruises on my hand I cannot rely on any FB metrics,

Has anyone experience 0% body resources?

I only did a 5km walk after waking up, and feel ok, so seems like a glitch.
Should I restart the watch to “solve it”?

And then I saw your post. And I checked my resources, they were this:

I have mentioned it a couple of times here. There is a bug in firstbeat , such that some simple activities can drain dramatically the resources.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos is this to be fixed in FB code or Suunto can do something about it?

After run I had a 500m walk, it did not mess with resources. I think you mentioned yoga zeroed resources.

@andré-faria yes I had something similar, my S9P did just stopp recording recovery and HR

                          78F3E163-473C-45B8-9B24-BD62F81E44FF.jpeg

It also did not show HR on the watch itself

                          022EDF43-CFCE-449C-89F1-E845B88DD5F3.jpeg

Resetting it didn’t help but it started to work again after midnight.

This issue affects all watches currently and I am afraid it’s outside Suunto. We have spent quite some effort to remedy this and atm it’s not on our hands.

I am talking specifically about the sudden drop after something easy. Easily reproducible with a stretching or yoga activity.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos So for me, too, something seems not to work correctly with the loading of the resources or with the fast unloading of the resources. reset the clock about 5 hours ago. Then start with 50%. slept briefly and then just watched TV. I still have 28% … Nothing has been charged … Only exit. My Suunto 7 didn’t have this problem.

I have gone to 0% resources even with no activities on that day.
I gain about 30% resources during sleep and now 7.20am I have been awake 1,5 hours and 22% resources left (32% at wake-up).

I did some streching today for about 20min and earned some resources. Don’t know if it is expectable or not.

Hi all. Lets seperate the issues.

                                        1. Sudden drop and ack from Suunto / firstbeat

Now if your resources dont go up that is because there is something most probably read by the algo of Firstbeat. It relates to the previous days and night of sleeps.

I am also at the office at with dropping resources because I have a sinus inflammation and swollen lymph nodes. My HR is low.

The HRV must not be ok.

So please just because you are at the couch it does not mean that resources should go up. The same applies when sleeping. Its not like filling a bucket with water when HR is low and/or you are not moving.
