Same problem here! Did 2-3 walks of note then 15 minutes (one was 45 min) and still no vo2max in my Suunto 9 peak… i was in walking mode. Anyone with the same situation ?

@lulu_rica try running. I know it says that walking is fine, but collecting enough relevant data during walking is not always possible.

@isazi I did now 6 activities (running 45-60 min)…still not recording…

@isazi 3 months ago I got a S9B titanium…It was working the first time…

@akos-hajas Strange, I got VO2 max after first run with the peak and it was in line with the one from my old S9.

@akos-hajas are you using an external HR monitor, or the wrist one? Do you get any message at the end of the activity that HR or GPS was problematic? Everything looks fine in SA for your runs?

@isazi I I’m using a Garmin chest belt.If I set target now it doesn’t come the message that you got 50 % and also doesn’t show up the Autolap on the watch (it is on)

@akos-hajas so there are various things that do not work on your watch
Maybe also contact support, they may know more. -
@isazi do you know why this isn’t stored and written back to the watch from the app? Same for resources, historical HR etc?
Personally, the V02 max is more realistic (read lower) than the 9B but it’s silly to me that they report different values at all.

@stromdiddily because it’s computed on the watch, with the code licensed from Firstbeat. I hope that in the future the watches will be able to retrieve some info from the app (already the setup is simpler now), so that switching watches will become easier.
