Beep's really low

Started noticing that S9P beep for autolap is really really low, I can barely hear it and only if I focus on doing so, otherwise it will go unnoticed, vibration is making more buzz than the beep itself, not sure if it was always like this on my S9P, but since I noticed it, it has been like that, even the beep it makes when you press START on your activity is also really low, already did a watch reboot and same.
Is it my unit or the volume for the beep is crazy low now on the S9P? thx

@herlas Same for S9B, Spartan Ultra (older watch) I think its a Suunto thing :), good to hear the Vibration is noticeable though! but other S9P owners may be able to confirm their experience.

@herlas ooh! then it must be really low then, although my aging hearing may have something to do with my assessment
I cant hear the high pitches like I used to (grasshoppers in particular seem to elude my hearing these days!)

@herlas I also find the beep lower than S9B. Not sure if it can be changed with a software update.

@herlas agree totally. You also hardly hear it when starting and stopping an activity unless it’s really quiet. Even a little wind moving the leaves in the trees is enough and I don’t hear any sound from the S9P. On the S9B and the S5 it’s significantly louder. Vibration is good though!

I bought the S9P for my wife and I’m also noticing a very low beeps. It’s almost inaudible when active.
My S9B is much louder.
So is this a feature of the watch? -
Can barely hear my S9P even when working out indoors it’s so quiet. Have to check visually that the watch has started.
Pretty sure it was louder when I first got it.
The vibration is good thankfully. -
@herlas I agree, the beep is low and I also struggle with feeling the vibration, had the same problem with my Spartan. Had hoped they have a better vibrator in a newer model.

On my S9P I can only hear the tone if I hold the watch against my ear, and if I enable button tones the mechanical click of the button is significantly louder than the tone.
I can feel the vibration when not exercising, but when exercising it tends to get lost in everything else that’s happening.
