      good point… I think my watch has the same settings as @cosmecosta 's watch does… if you’re used to longer battery life it might be more noticeable

        I do not know if what I’m going to say have any sense, but could be that you have “everything” enabled so you can’t notice the battery drain in sleep mode?
        In my case, with everything off, and after two battery calibration, the battery drain in sleep mode is still very high, as when I created my post stating it.

        I near enough have nothing enabled; I don’t use sleep tracking, notifications or HR. The only time I use it is for training, then it’s off the wrist and sits on the table until I need it again 😊

        I charged it to full last night, used it for a 60min run this morning. It’s now early afternoon and it’s at 95% which seems consistent with how it’s always been

          lucky you… 🙂 mine goes off the charger in the morning and immediately drops to 99% (which is fine)… then it drops to below 95% before lunch without any activity, just sitting on the wrist

            @freeheeler isn’t that expected ? The s9b is at 20-25% per day with 24/7 on

              yep, but a bit less with 24/7 off, which is my use case 🙂

                @dimitrios-kanellopoulos I don’t know what is is expected, but with the new firmware the battery consumption is much greater comparing to the previous firmware. I also have everything off on the watch, no sleep tracking, no daily HR, no notifications…

                      @isazi Hi,
                      Is this valid for S9 Peak? Although the batery calibration solved the sleep tracking high drainage, i found that S9 Peak is draining about 6% - 7% each hour run with gps (gps only or gps+beidou). Before the update was draining about 3%-4%/hour. Actually the GPS in performance mode shows 30h when starting activity with full battery, but it won’t last more than 17h with the actual drainage.

                      Cheers

                          Wait, sorry, you are talking about battery consumption during activity here. I am confirming the faster battery drain in daily mode, not during activity. I have not really noticed higher consumption during activity.

                            @isazi thanks. I’ll wait for the update then, to see if it gets better. Just for reference, what ia your usual drain during activity with gps+beidou and HR.?
                            Thanks.

                              @pedromslopess without S+? I get an estimated battery life of more than 1 day (estimated after activity, not before, so based on real consumption).

                                  @clemens-renzl When it’s released.

                                  Up until now Suunto has never given a release date for firmware updates

                                    @surfboomerang which is fine, since promised dates set you under unnecessary pressure and the risk is high that you make mistakes…
                                    I know that by own experience by the way 😜

                                      @freeheeler True.
                                      I prefer fewer, but stable updates over more frequent and buggy.

                                      More frequent and stable however… 🤔 😉

                                        Do not want to give false hopes because Suunto eventually decides when and if to release software, but in retrospect they have been pretty consistent on the WHEN part.
