Alarm doesn't turn on the backlight
-
@isazi Hi! Today again the screen backlight did not work when the alarm went off. How do I send the logs the next time this happens? I’ve never done this before.
-
@stas-varazhbit Android or iOS?
-
@stas-varazhbit Checked. My alarm clock does not always turn on the backlight.
-
@isazi iOS
-
I had the same issue, but after I’ve made a full factory reset I’ve noticed that the alarm is working properly.

Should be (I do not have iOS):
Go to profile and scroll down full and you will see a button that says send logs

@stas-varazhbit I had the same (similar?) problem this morning with S9B. The watch sounded the alarm , but the screen remained blank, despite my pressing various buttons (I cannot say that i pressed them in any specific order - i was half asleep (:-).

you’re crazy, I bet you spent the entire evening setting up all your customized sport modes one by one since we don’t have a setup backup…
half-serious joke aside… I did not experience an issue with my backlight recently, the watch might have found its center again and works fine in this regard.
knock on wood it remains like that -
This is a good exercise for mind and soul

Suunto has an open ticket for this, and some people send logs already, so no need to send more logs for now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

@mdzott definitely, no backlight when the alarm sounds. Verified with a white background and black, so this is not the issue (i guess, the update is).

I recently faced a situation like this:
I snooze in the morning after the alarm goes off. When the 2nd alarm goes off, even though I press all the buttons, the alarm goes off, but the screen does not light up.
It returns to normal after a while.
arm wake is also on.
in the morning it gets hard to see the screen in the dark
